Installing and configuring FCKeditor can be a difficult task. Other modules and themes can interfere with the functionality in a great number of ways. The maintainers of the FCKeditor module for Drupal provide assistance in finding the cause of installation problems. We need the following information in case you need us to help you with your Drupal + FCKeditor installation.
- Account with full FCKeditor permissions.
Please create an account on your Drupal installation that at least has all available FCKeditor permissions. Preferably, we would like to have all permissions, so we can verify if a certain module interferes with FCKeditor.
- Steps to reproduce
In most cases, the problem is simply that FCKeditor does not show up. Otherwise, we need a clear guide on the steps to reproduce your problem. Please tell us what URL to go to, what button to click, what text to enter, etcetera.
You can send this information to one of the Drupal module maintainers. Usually, you create a support request first. One of the maintainers will respond to your request and ask you to provide this information. You can then use the drupal.org personal contact form of the maintainer to send the information.
